Our Gold Coast Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Wheelhouse (Gold Coast Race 2 No. 2)
Wheelhouse is on a seven day back-up after a strong win in The Wave at this track and distance last week. He was wide throughout and arrived late to beat them all. The start before he went down in the final stages for 0.3 length 2nd over 1600m at Randwick on 26 December. This four-year-old Pierro gelding is from the Chris Waller stable and looks the testing material.

Each Way
Sir Rocket (Gold Coast Race 6 No. 19e):
With the scratching of Blondeau this five-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Michael Costa will get a run in the $1,000,000 Magic Millions Cup. He has six wins and four places from 12 starts. He finished 0.8 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on 19 December, then was a 1.8 length winner of the Magic Millions Country Cup over 1200m last week. That was his 3rd win from three starts at the track. Has drawn the inside barrier and looks a great each-way chance.

Best Lay
Away Game (Gold Coast Race 5 No. 6):
This four-year-old Snitzel mare trained by Ciaron Maher & David Eustace has five wins and eight places from 19 starts and is the early favourite in the 1200m Magic Millions Sprint. In the Spring she ran 5 lengths 6th in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 22 October, then returned from a 9 week break for 0.8 length 2nd in the Listed Christmas Stakes over 1100m at Caulfield on 26 December. Nicely drawn but prepared to risk her in this quality field.

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The evening meeting has 9 races with the first at 5.36pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +8 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and +6 metres for the remainder. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. David Pires has some good rides. Our Balaklava Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is a Good 4 with the rail in the true position. Best Bet Oakland Raider (Balaklava Race 3 No. 6) Oakland Raider has had 3 starts. He was a close 2nd at start number 2 over 900m at Murray Bridge on 26th January, then ran 4th last start at Morphettville Parks after leading then peaking in the final 100m. He should find the lead early from the good barrier and looks hard to

Our Terang Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes off a 9 length romping and looks every chance of going one better despite the rise in grade. Best Bet Galloping Guru (Terang Race 7 No.2) Galloping Guru atoned with 2 luckless runs and put a 9 length margin on them. Goes up in grade but looks progressive and can head to the front and prove tough to mow down. Expecting the support to come prior to

Our Kembla Grange Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 6 metres. The best bet comes up in race 3 and looks very hard to hold out from the good draw with Jennings steering and hailing from the Doyle yard. Best Bet Reigning King (Kembla Grange Race 3 No. 2) Bumped into a good one fresh and was solid in defeat. Its only win came second up in the past so this looks a very suitable race and slightly easier
