Game Theory (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 1)
This four-year-old So You Think gelding has won his last two starts away from the city. He kept coming to prevail in the latter stages for a 0.5 length win over 1200m at Gosford on 12 March with the best last 800m race sectional, then led throughout for a length win over 1300m at Hawkesbury. He’s proven on heavy tracks and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay
Excelladus (Warwick Farm Race 1 No. 8)
This So You Think gelding from the John Thompson stable is the early favourite in this 3YO Maiden Handicap over 1300m. He was always well back when 7.2 lengths 10th over 1400m at Rosehill on 17 November, then finished 3.2 lengths 5th over 1400m at Kensington on 3 December, before spelling. He resumes here after 20 weeks and has had a couple of trials where he has finished in the back half of the field. First-up and with the unknown of the heavy track I am prepared to risk him.
