Notifies will need some luck from the draw but clearly has plenty of ability and I’m very interested in the fact that Dylan Gibbons only comes for the 2 steers and this is one of them. He sat up on the line on Notifies and potentially didn’t see the horse that it beat screaming down the outside of the track. Suspect Gibbons is keen to make amends and the $6.50 holds large appeal.

Crime Spree (Hawkesbury Race 7 No. 8)
Crime Spree has always been one of my favourites. Probably found the distance and ground a bit too much in its last run at the end of the prep. If you watch its replays prior, they are something to be witnessed. When things fall into place for Crime Spree it has one of the better turns of foot in Australia. The draw means it can settle somewhat handy and if it is within striking range its the one I want my money on.

Destiny’s Bounty (Hawkesbury Race 7 No. 1)
Cracking race. Expecting Destiny’s Bounty to drift given the vast amount of competition in this race. Won well last start however this is a big leap in depth and a few of these are proven around this grade. The early $3.20 is thin.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet can land us a win in the first. Best Bet Pee Dee (Quirindi Race 2 No. 1) Has been sound in both efforts to date and this race lacks any depth. Key Comments A big 10 race card takes place. The rail is in 3 metres. The track usually suits those who can sustain a long run to the line. That will suit the best bet who loves racing here and comes up later in the day. Best Bet Flame Tree Star (Grafton Race 1 No. 1) Has a booming turn of foot and while Swanston doesn't have the easiest pattern to catch, this track does suit and that shows with the 9 placings
