Newley Wed is a dual acceptor but if they choose to go in this direction it will be very hard to beat in this field. Has shown some strong glimpses of quality thus far in Victoria and this looks a nice race for it.

Five Crowns has not had much luck this prep however getting back onto some good footing could be what it needs to spark improvement. It has had legitimate excuses its past 2 runs and should be fighting out the finish against these with barrier 1 and Aaron Bullock sticking.

Strombus (Newcastle Race 8 No. 9)
It was a good win from Strombus last start however back off a heavy track and being dealt with barrier 11 are two negative factors. There looks to be a few things against and with a few value chances in the race the current $3.20 does look on the thin side.
