Powerful Peg was just average last run but it always pays to forgive a horse off one poor run and it was caught in a bit of a tricky position. It is worth noting that Powerful Peg was sent into $2.25 and now we get $4.60 about it. This race is no harder and it maps to get a nice run with Dylan Gibbons in the saddle.

Geewiz Johnny (Muswellbrook Race 5 No. 7)
Still a maiden and comes up against a handy class one field. Geewiz Johnny is going to need plenty of luck from barrier 14 and its always a risk backing apprentices from wide draws where they will require to weave a path. In a handy field I am surprised about the $3.80 on offer.
