Winter Moon finds a drop in grade which should be enough to see it return to the winners stall. It wasn’t beaten far by Zoo Station a few starts back and that kind of form is very strong for this race. It should land into a good spot from the draw and be hard to hold out.

I couldn’t have Sweet Baby Boom and the favourite as far apart in the market as they are right now. Sweet Baby Boom did a power of work and did well to cling on for as long as it did. Concede the map is a little tricky but Costin may take a sit and I think it represents nice value here.

Buckin’ Beauty (Wellington Race 5 No. 1)
Buckin’ Beauty looks well placed here on paper but the wide draw is problematic in a race with plenty of speed. The 4kg claimer steers and it will need to be a 10/10 ride to see it home. It can win but I have it marked longer odds and the claimer will need to produce something special.
