Improper had no luck in running last start. It sets up much kinder from barrier 4 and should secure a nice run in transit. The $8.00 looks over the odds given the amount of ground it covered in the run. I like its chances against this bunch.

Verbek (Wagga Race 3 No. 12)
Verbek has been a very tricky horse to catch. I certainly have been lured in a few times and while it has shown plenty of talent, it really struggles to put a race away. At start number 11 it looks well placed against these but beaten below $6 in five of its past 6 runs I would not be suggesting the $1.45 as a worthwhile investment.
