I’m Devine (Canberra Race 8 No. 17)
Given the lack of speed in the race, I’m Devine can get away with the wide draw and looks extremely well placed to take this race out. This is a drastic drop in grade after being thrown in the deep end in a stakes race behind Espiona & Startantes. The first up win was outstanding and in here 1kg lighter than what it carried last run in a much harder race the $11.00 looks extremely appealing.

Von Trapp (Canberra Race 6 No. 14)
I am a big fan of Von Trapp and if the track is playing fair it looks nicely placed take out the Canberra Guineas. There were issues at its run towards the end of last prep but I thought the return run was excellent against the likes of Fangirl and Espiona. Von Trapp didn’t quite enjoy being up on the speed last run so I’m expecting Sherry to take a sit and leave the run late for one last crack at them. Has a lethal turn of foot when right and has each way appeal.

I Am Me (Canberra Race 4 No. 9)
I Am Me does come from an astute stable and has a senior jockey aboard but this race has plenty of value to be found. The current $1.80 looks short given it hasn’t raced in nearly 5 months and while there were flashes of ability in its last prep, race day fitness is with a few of these. Looks risky at the odds.

Our Wyong Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments Soft 6 but getting into better territory come race day. The best bet strikes a winnable race and is earlier on in the card. Best Bet Detendu (Wyong Race 2 No. 1) Two likeable seconds to date. Maps for a solid run and should give this race a shake. Our Muswellbrook Tips for Monday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 3 metres from the 1000-300m and the cutaway applies. The best bet gets Bullock back aboard and is a big chance of winning. Best Bet Jonny Be Swift (Muswellbrook Race 5 No. 4) Johnny Be Swift was good last start. Should enjoy dropping weight and Bullock hops back aboard. He is 1/1 when riding and any give in the ground on race day is a plus. $2.25

Best Bet Foxtrot Bravo (Sapphire Coast Race 3 No. 1) Efforts so far to date have been ultra consistent. Hasn't missed the top 2 in its past 2 starts and smart move with the claim. Most of these are coming off last start wins so it is an even race but $2.45

This meeting was originally to be held on Friday 16th but was rescheduled due to extreme heat. Best Bet Talk Softly (Esperance Race 6 No. 9) He's won 4 in a row here at Esperance and is absolutely flying. Think he can make it 5 in a row. $3.10
