This four-year-old Written Tycoon gelding has won his last 2 starts over this distance at Happy Valley and returns from a 6 week let-up. He steps up to Class 2 for the first time and drops 5.5 kg from last run for the rise in class. Zac Purton gets off (maybe he couldn’t make the weight?) and Karis Teetan takes the reins.From barrier 4 he should be able to lead if he wants to and he looks a strong chance here.

Tamra Blitz (Sha Tin Race 10 No. 11)
This four-year-old gelding has won 5 of his 11 starts. He stuck on impressively to score over 1400m at Sha Tin on 8 January last start and should appreciate the rise in distance. Zac Purton partners him this time and although the draw is awkward, he’s sure to make his presence felt. Looks worth an each-way bet.
AMRA BLITZ (11) ran on from midfield to score an impressive victory last start, bolting in by 2L at this track and trip. He rises in grade today, but drops 5.5kg and is drawn to get every chance. He can bring up back-to-back wins.
