Horse Racing Tips: Happy Valley, 8th November 2023

Our Happy Valley Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Key Comments

There is an 9-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail moves back to the A position and both the weather and the surface should be good.

The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 9.40pm AEST.

Best Bet

A Americ Te Specso (Happy Valley Race 6 No.  1)

This five-year-old gelding was slowly away and came from well back to finish 1.8 lengths 4th over 1000m at Happy Valley last start. The 1200m is much more suitable and he has won a trial since his last race. Zac Purton take the reins and he should be hard to best.

Best Each Way

Son Pak Fu (Happy Valley Race 9 No. 11)

Son Pak Fu ran on strongly to just miss last start at Happy Valley when fresh. He carries 7.5kg less this time with the claim for Chau and rises in grade. He can power home at the finish with no weight on his back and looks a good each-way chance.
