This five-year-old gelding was a very close runner-up when dropping back in grade last start, beaten in a photo finish at this course and distance. He has a big drop in weight and a better barrier draw this time. He returns from a six week let-up and has won a recent trial. Should be hard to hold out with the light weight.

London Luckystar (Happy Valley Race 5 No. 6)
This seven-year-old has had four wins from nine attempts this preparation, and is a last start winner at this track and distance. Goes up in weight but should be thereabouts again. Looks a great each-way bet.
