This three-year-old Deep Field gelding has won 3 of his 5 starts, and is going for a hat-trick here. He was a 0.2 length winner over 1000m at Happy Valley on 30 November, then won by 1.3 lengths over 100m at Happy Valley on 14 December. He has more weight here but has drawn the rails, Luke Ferraris sticks and I think he will get his 3rd successive win at this track and distance.

This four-year-old Exceed And Excel gelding was taken back from a wide barrier but managed to finish 0.6 lengths 3rd over 1650m at Happy Valley on 4 January. He gets a much better draw here and Karis Teetan takes the reins. Looks worth an each-way bet.
