There is an 8-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail moves to the B position for the meeting, and there is no rain forecast in the lead-up, which should mean racing will be on a Good surface. The feature is the Group 3 January Cup over 1800m (race 6).
The first race is at 7.10pm Hong Kong time which is 10.10pm AEST.

Last-start winner at this track and distance to break his maiden on 20 December, after placing at the start before. He’s nicely drawn in barrier 2 and should be able to stalk the speed again. Can win again.

He was disappointing last start when he started favourite over 2200m and only placed.He drops back in distance to 1800m and gets pacifiers on for the first time. He’s won 5 of his 15 starts and looks a nice each-way bet.
