Fiery Diamond (Sha Tin Race 5 No.3)

He was impressive winning first up by 1.3 lengths over this T/D last time out. He had to do it the hard way after being bumped at the start from barrier seven whilst also losing a plate in the run and racing tight at the 1000m mark. All of that gives him plenty of merit for that win.

He has drawn ideally this time out and Zac remains with him which is always a positive. There is a bit of pace to his outside, so I expect him to settle around fifth or sixth in the run and if Zac can get a run just off the fence, I reckon he is going to be mighty hard to beat in a race that lacks form.

Current Price: $2.60

True Legend (Sha Tin Race 9 No.10)

He was shoved along early first up to hold a spot and then when they came around the final bend and the horses around him and behind him started to get momentum up upon straightening, he was stuck behind the tiring leader after they set a frantic pace, and he had to check heels at the 300m mark, where he lost the little momentum he did have, and it was race over. Mind you he never goes well first up as it is and continuously improves better second up, which he is here, and with Angus Chung remaining aboard, he carries only 50kg on his back from barrier one!

There isn’t a lot of pace, so he should hold the front with ease and have his chance at silly each-way odds. I will be saving on Amazing Teens and maybe Handsome Twelve as well, but I think our bloke will go very close.
