Four starts in his career, he has drawn barriers 11, 8, 8, and 13, whilst finishing sixth, fifth, fourth, and fourth. But today, he has drawn a nice barrier and gets the services of Zac Purton. Last start he raced wide without cover over the 1400m but stuck on well for a 4.6 length fourth. The start prior he got back from his wide gate and hit the line well for a 1.4 length fourth. I just love the setup for him today and this is the easiest Class 4 he has faced in some time.

Taking the risk here with this Deep Field gelding who did have a debut to remember. He was ridden out of the gates but due to the speed around him, Purton decided to try and find cover. But the horse was having none of it, getting its head on the side and travelling keenly throughout before being left without cover from the 700m mark. Somehow, he still managed to finish 3 lengths away in eighth. He gets the tongue-tie applied first time and he has drawn much better in barrier 4. Purton sticks which is ideal and I reckon we are going to see a much better run.
