Telecom Missile | (Sha Tin Race 1 No.5)
It isn’t often I would lean to a Class 5 as the best bet, but hopefully, the prediction of the race pattern comes to fruition. First-up on the all-weather, he reared at the start which caused him only to begin fairly but he managed to pick himself up and be right in the finish, finishing around 0.2 of a length in third. He is again drawn ideally but the key here is that there is very little pace in the race, and hopefully Shinn takes this bloke forward and controls the race. I expect them to be in a handy position regardless, and they should be fighting out the finish.

Fortune Carrier has had no luck over his recent form, running wide without cover in most and also coping interference in others. The draw has down him no favours but Vincent Ho jumping back on is good and his form over the wet going three back will have him in this race up to his ears if the track remains wet, but if it doesn’t that’s no issue either. He just needs the luck to be in the finish. Woodfire Bro was ordinary last start and there were no real excuses apart from maybe racing pattern/draw. Drawn better here and get Purton aboard, I expect an improved run. August Moon is going for three in a row after a brilliant 1.2 length win last time out. The draw is a slight issue but he will go forward and give himself every chance.
