He couldn’t get any free air in the straight being stuck on heels at the 350m and again at the 150m, but still managed a fighting fifth. He has drawn similarly here and with Joao Moreira sticking with him, I expect him to be in an ideal position throughout and fighting out the finish, in what looks a thin Class 4

This is another Class 4 on the day which is quite thin when it comes to runners, and this Zoustar gelding is in tremendous form and will be looking to continue it here. Despite only winning by half a length last time out, he ran a slashing final 200m and was running away from them through the line, so had the button been pressed earlier, the margin would have been greater. He gets another good draw to get a similar run and I will be surprised if he isn’t in the finish.
