Hercules (Happy Valley Race 4 No.8)
His first-up run was very good when finishing third just over half a length off Winning Icey. The rider dropped his right rein around 150m from home which wasn’t ideal but he still managed to pick up and hit the line nicely. Sectionally, he was brilliant, hitting the top ten for all closing sectionals of the meeting. There is a lot of pace in this race which will suit him down to the ground and from the draw, he can settle midfield before peeling off them in the straight. He is a terrific chance and with even luck, should be fighting out the finish.

Super Winner (Happy Valley Race 6 No.6)
His first-up run behind Setanta was really good despite being over-run in the closing stages to go down by half a length in third. He has drawn ideally to sit outside of the lead or at worst dropping back into third and stalking the leaders. Zac Purton jumps aboard and he should give him every chance based on his draw/map. This is a very thin race and anything but a decent run would be a failure.
