Valiant Elegance | (Happy Valley Race 6 No.11)
This son of Salade was fantastic last start after almost two months off, winning in tremendous fashion by 1.8 lengths. What makes the win even better was the 59kg he carried in the race and he was still able to put them away with ease, thanks to the brilliant Hewitson/Whyte combination. He steps up to Class 3 now which means he drops to 52kg and the draw isn’t the work as he should still be able to sit in the front four. He is an attractive price and well worth a chance.

Casa Kingdom | (Happy Valley Race 4 No.10)
Casa Kingdom is another I like who is stepping up in grade following a nice win. The son of Dundeel was also first-up when winning his Class 5 event by 0.8 of a length after coming from the second half of the field. Karis Teetan will take the reins here as he drops to 52kg and a favourable draw might see him settle a touch closer in the run. This isn’t a very deep Class 4, and I see him as a terrific chance at each-way odds.
