The Chairman’s Stakes is a Group 3 race held at Caulfield Racecourse and is run over 1000 metres. It is for two-years-olds and is run under set weights and penalties conditions. The total prize money is $200,000 this year.

Track: Good Weather: Fine

Plenty to like about the win of Coleman first up. Plenty of hopes in this field but looks a leading chance. Scampi has mixed form but has the potential to take this race out. Eneeza was a good last start winner and gets the very in form Damian Lane. Gap to the rest.

Chairman’s Stakes 2024 Runner by Runner

Well backed and won nicely on debut. The stable and jockey combo have a very good strike rate and has the experience on this track. Hard to beat.

2. Eneeza (6)

Very good last start win and gets the in form Lane steering. Short enough in the market but rates a top 2 chance against this lot and looks to have better races in store in the future.

3. Scampi (5)

Mixing form to date but Zahra hops on and respecting previous placement by the stable. This race is well and truly within reach and maps for a good run.

4. Counteroffensive (7)

Had excuses on debut and gets Shinn to ride. Maps a bit tricky but this race is within reach.

6. Express Yo’self (3)

Can’t have.

7. Tippytay (4)

Prefer others.
