Track: Good Weather: Fine

Great race with a host of chances. Zarastro is well placed in this field. A winning machine that will get every chance from the draw. Spacewalk can be hard to catch at the best of times but is good enough to give this field a shake. Nettuno was just fair last start but was heavily respected by the market and deserves another chance with the freshen up.

1. Spacewalk (5)

Is 5 wins from 19 starts and I would have been on just about all the 14 loses and none of the wins. Impossible to catch but clearly good enough.

2. Alpine Edge (12)

Capable enough but will need luck from the barrier.

3. Master Jamie (9)

Can lead them up and give a kick. Not hopeless and has the right running pattern to land into the placings.

4. Nettuno (11)

He was just fair last start but did run at $2.80 against a field better than this. Has to be respected off this and has the ability to take this out. Well placed and hard to beat.

5. Rubiquitous (8)

Handy record but may find this a bit tough. Leaning to others.

6. Zarastro (6)

Well placed from the draw, 3/3 on this track, 3/3 with Jones aboard and is very hard to knock. Hard to beat in this.

7. Ef Troop (2)

Well placed from the draw but 6 from 41 is the concern. Looks too short.

8. Fifteen Rounds (13)

Leaning to others.

9. Deepour (3)

Should get a good run from the draw. Jockey is 1/1 aboard and does race well on this track. Goes in the mix and at a reasonable asking price.

10. Legal Esprit (7)

Prefer others.

11. Stuttering (1)

This looks too tough.

12. Richon (4)

Can’t have.

13. Ralphie (10)

Having a good prep but the knock is the barrier and depth of form. Leaning to others.
