Adam Durrant and William Pike are a proven combination. Should win.

This five-year-old gelding has placed at 3 of his 4 starts this campaign. He missed in a head bobber to finish a fingernail 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 5 November, then was held up on straightening and checked near the 200m and still finished 0.7 length 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 19 November. Looks a great each-way chance.

Cash Away (Ascot Race 9 No. 8)
This four-year-old gelding trained by Misty Bazeley is the early favourite in this Rating 72+ Handicap over 1200m. He was a 0.2 length winner over 1000m at Belmont on 3 September, then resumed from an 11 week break for 1.4 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Ascot on 19 November. He didn’t have the best of luck last start but there are some fairly smart runners in this field and I’m prepared to risk him.
