Has the top weight again and goes up to 1600m but looks up to it.

This six-year-old resumes here after a 24 week spell. He finished last campaign with a 2 length win over 1200m at this track on 29 April. His first-up statistics are a win and a place from 4 first-up starts, and he has 3 wins at this track. Rates highly with Troy Turner retaining the ride and looks a nice each-way bet.

This three-year-old American Pharoah colt trained by Adam Durrant is the early favourite in this 1200m Maiden at set weights. He has had 4 trials and has drawn perfectly in barrier 1, but is having his first start. Most of the field have already had a few starts and a couple look close to a win, so I am prepared to risk him here.
