Reliable Star | (Belmont Race 1 No.4)
She was massively up in grade last start and just didn’t get the job done after she was set an impossible task with the leader setting a fast tempo and a big gap on the field. She gets the winkers off and blinkers on for the first time and sticking around a similar distance is ideal. She handles soft conditions but the heavy is unknown, but I think she will be fine and the smaller field will ensure she doesn’t get too far off them. She is drawn well, so it will be interesting to see whether Clint Johnston-Porter sits her a touch closer in the run or not. Providing the blinkers switch her on, I can see her making it win number three in four starts.

Flower In The Wind | (Belmont Race 5 No.10)
This is the easiest assignment for her in two starts following to big runs in Listed grade. She had excuses two back in the Listed Belmont Oaks before going within a length of winning when she ran second in the Listed Belmont Classic. It’s a massive drop back to a restricted race whilst sticking to a similar distance and of course, she has the best jockey in W.A in Chris Parnham sticking with her, so she is going to be given every chance. I’ll be surprised if she isn’t fighting out the finish.
