Lord Lonsdale | (Belmont Race 4 No.7)
I had this guy black booked after his 1.4 length defeat last start. Due to his draw, he had to settle at the rear of the field over an unsuitable distance but he flew home into fourth. They get an extra 200m here and he is third-up into his preparation, so he will be nearing his peak fitness. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the draw we wanted but nonetheless, with even luck, he will be flying late in the piece.

Elite Street | (Belmont Race 8 No.2)
This son of Street Boss takes on eight opposition that he faced last start and he meets each one of them at least 1kg better off for that run. He was briefly held up early in the straight but hit the line with vigour to win the race on the line after six months on the sideline. He has drawn ideally, gets an extra 100m, and meets most of his opposition better off at the weights. He will be hard to beat.

Secret Plan | (Belmont Race 9 No.2)
Happy to take on this Adam Durrant trained four-year-old. Despite having the claim and having a decent first-up record, this guy has had nothing but experienced jockeys aboard and it is what he will need today, especially from the wide draw. I have no doubt he will be coming late but he is going to need a lot of luck.
