He led all the way for a 2.8 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 13 March, then was a 2.6 length winner over 1400m at Ascot on 31 March. Should bring up a hat-trick of wins at the same track and distance.

Victory Vixen (Ascot Race 6 No. 8)
This Rommel filly has one win and two places from four starts. She led into the straight but was picked off on the line for 0.1 length 2nd over 1300m at Pinjarra Scarpside on 24 March, then led and kept kicking for a 1.6 length win over 1400m at Pinjarra Park on 3 April. Gets a 1.5kg claim which makes her a nice each way hope.

Best Lay
Zephyra (Ascot Race 2 No. 10)
This three-year-old Demerit filly trained by Simon Miller is the early favourite in this set weights maiden race over 1200m. She is the only unraced runner in the field and has run 4th at both her trials. Race exeperience is important and I’m prepared to risk her here.
