Best Bet | Race 2 #12 Festival Prince

Very keen on this bloke first-up off a nice trial. He’s won five-from-six (unbeaten from his last five starts) and still looks to have plenty of natural improvement. I just think he has way too much talent for his rivals here, despite the wide draw.  3kg claimer Alex Patis will take the ride and I think he can win even if doesn’t get all the favours from the sticky draw.

Next Best | Race 1 #9 Rich Lister

Flying this preparation and it was no disgrace to be beaten last start by the talented Go Wandji who got a charmed run through the field. Rich Lister is now third-up and set to peak. Third-up last prep she was a winner and she’ll get the run of the race from gate two with step up to 1200m looking ideal

Best Each Way | Race 3 #6 Irukandji

Looks an each-way lock third-up out to 1800m. This son of Dundeel had a nice tick over trial last week and was not beaten far by the smart stablemate Axe over the unsuitable 1000m. His two runs this time in have been full of merit. Jaden Lloyd’s claim will be a huge help and he rides his local track well.
