Review of last weeks golf tips
Last week, I offered two scenarios for betting on PGA Tour Golf.
Adam Scott ($51 each way) a winner of 6.5 times investment and Viktor Hovland ($26 each way) a winner at 3.25 times investment. Sufficient for a profitable week following this philosophy.
But over time, the vagaries of golf and the short prices of the first 30-40 players means you’ll back winners, but you won’t win over a year. The second option was a losing week. Cameron Young ($500) trailed the tear away leader Jauquin Neiman who opened with two course record 63’s and Yet our $500 chance stuck with him and eventually was only beaten two shots. Mito Pereira ($410) and Danny Lee ($1000) also had chances to be in the mix. A number of other so called despised outsiders also made the cut) The second strategy finding over the odds bets is far more lucrative in the long game.
Honda Classic
This week the only event is the Honda Classic at PGA National designed by George and Tom Fazio and redesigned by Jack Nicklaus, the course is 7045 yards (6445m) with a course rating of 75.2.
