Review of last weeks golf tips

Backawinners following the golf tips will note Elizabeth Szokol, tipped at $940 last week finished third alone behind the real world #1 Jin Young Ko last week.

In Europe Jack Senior $420 just finished outside the money at T6 in the Spanish Open. In the Shriners Hospital for children, Rory Sabbatini ($620) finished third. Almost a very very profitable week.

This week the starting event was the Buick LPGA event at Qizhong Garden Goof Club in Shanghai, the course was designed by Dana Fry working with local designer, Jun Lue and is only 6200-6591 yards (6000m) but at a CR of between 76 and 80 and a slope of 150 should in theory test the best women.

However due to Covid 19, the event was recently cancelled!

Andalucía Masters at Valderrama

The European tour heads to Valderrama for the Estrella Damm, Andalucía Masters, the Robert Trent Jones course, 6990 yards (6390m) course rating 76.1 and slope of 147 is famous for its tree lined narrow fairways and is not a favourite of modern architects. Straight drivers do well here.
